Connection options
USB C: The rear USB port serves as a power bank and can charge connected devices (e.g. smartphone).
HEADPHONES OUT: You can connect compatible headphones to the speaker via the HEADPHONES OUT jack. Use the volume control to adjust the playback volume for your headphones. The channel balance control lets you adjust the mix between channel 1 (left headphone channel) and channel 2 (right headphone channel). This allows you, for example, to listen to a track on channel 1 while preparing the next track on channel 2.
PARTY LINK: The PARTY LINK function allows you to pair multiple compatible Teufel speakers for simultaneous audio playback via Bluetooth® or cable connection. More information can be found here.
DMX: An external DMX-capable lighting system can be connected and controlled via an XLR cable connection. More information can be found here.
LINE IN: Connect a compatible audio source analog via a cinch/RCA cable to LINE IN 1 on the speaker. You can connect your audio source to LINE IN 2 using a stereo cable with a 3.5 mm jack plug. You can connect a playback source (e.g. with PARTY LINK Wired) to one of the two LINE IN 3 sockets using an XLR cable. Pair ROCKSTER 2 with other Teufel devices
INSTRUMENT IN: You can connect your instrument (e.g. guitar, keyboard, etc.) to INSTRUMENT IN using a mono cable with a 6.3 mm jack plug.
MICROPHONE: Only dynamic microphones can be connected to this XLR microphone input. Condenser microphones requiring phantom power are not supported.
BLUETOOTH: The ROCKSTER 2 has two integrated Bluetooth receivers with AAC. You can pair two smartphones at the same time.
Can I operate the ROCKSTER 2 with a car battery?
Unlike its predecessor, the ROCKSTER 2 does not have a 12V connection and therefore cannot be powered by a car battery.
How do I establish a Bluetooth connection?
The ROCKSTER 2 has 2 Bluetooth channels. One audio source can be connected per channel. The speaker volume cannot be controlled via the connected audio source. Using the ROCKSTER 2’s mixer, you can switch between channels, adjust the overall volume, and set sound (equalizer) and volume individually for each channel.
- Decide which channel you want your audio source to connect to. For channel 1, set the “Source 1” (6) control to Bluetooth – for channel 2, set the “Source 2” (7) control to Bluetooth.
- Activate the Bluetooth® function on your audio source.Press and hold the control (6)/(7) for 1.5 seconds. A signal sounds and the LED flashes.
- Let your audio source search for Bluetooth® devices. In the list of Bluetooth devices, select the corresponding channel “ROCKSTER 2 Ch.1” or “ROCKSTER 2 Ch.2”. A signal tone will sound and the LED will stay lit.
