The ROCKSTER 2 can be paired with other Teufel speakers that currently or in the future support Party Link.

Configuration
Before you begin setup, you must assign each speaker a specific role via configuration before connecting them.
What is the role of the speaker?
To do this, repeatedly press the CONFIGURATION button (26).
MASTER: Speaker acts as the primary control unit and transmits the audio signal to all connected speakers.
MASTER - SUB MODE: Speaker acts as the control unit and subwoofer for playback of low tones, while the signal components for mid and high tones are passed to the other speakers.
COMPANION: Speaker receives the audio signal from a MASTER or SUB and plays it back synchronously.
Which signals are output?
Deactivate PARTY LINK and PARTY LINK STEREO
Press and hold button (25) for 1.5 seconds. ☑ The pairing will be disconnected and PARTY LINK will be deactivated on the speaker.
Activating the different Party-Link functions
Party-Link
The speaker can be connected via Bluetooth® with up to 100 compatible speakers to form a speaker chain, a larger space with sound.
When using the Party-Link feature, the first speaker acts as the control unit while the other speakers follow this signal.
Notes:
- PARTY LINK can only use Bluetooth® channel 1.
- During PARTY LINK, speakers can only output mono sound. The SETUP function is disabled.
- Before using PARTY LINK, speakers must be configured as MASTER, SUB-MASTER, or COMPANION → Configuration
- PARTY LINK can also be set up via the Teufel Go App
How to activate the Party-Link function
- Connect your audio source (e.g. smartphone) via Bluetooth® to the first speaker.
- Configure the first speaker as MASTER / SUB-MASTER → Configuration
- Press and hold the PARTYLINK button on the first speaker for 1.5 seconds. The button will blink.
- Turn on another compatible speaker. The speaker must not have an active Bluetooth® connection. Configure this speaker as COMPANION→ Configuration
- Press and hold the PARTYLINK button on the first speaker for 1.5 seconds. The button will blink.
- The COMPANION is connected to the MASTER / SUB-MASTER. All paired speakers will play the same content.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed to connect additional speakers.
Party Link Wired
Several speakers can be connected to each other using an XLR cable connection.
Notes:
- Suitable XLR cables for connecting the speakers are available in the webshop under “Accessories”.
- With PARTY LINK Wired, the right LINE IN 3 jack is disabled.
- Before using PARTY LINK, speakers must be configured as MASTER, SUB-MASTER, or COMPANION → Configuration
- PARTY LINK can also be set up via the Teufel Go App
How to activate the Party-Link-Wired function
- Connect your audio source (e.g. smartphone) via Bluetooth® to the first speaker.
- Configure the first speaker as MASTER / SUB-MASTER → Configuration
- Connect an XLR cable (43) from the COMPANION OUT jack (30) on the MASTER / SUB-MASTER.
- Turn on another compatible speaker. The speaker must not have an active Bluetooth® connection. Configure this speaker as COMPANION→ Configuration
- Connect the XLR cable (43) to the left LINE IN 3 jack (36) on the COMPANION. (See illustration in step 3.)
- The speaker (COMPANION) is connected to the speaker (MASTER / SUB-MASTER). All speakers connected via XLR cable will play the same content.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 as needed to connect additional speakers.
- Setup: Press button (27) on speaker 1 (MASTER) and select the desired setting (LEFT, RIGHT, MONO). → Configuration The setting on the MASTER to the COMPANION. In simple terms:
MASTER MONO -ION MONO
MASTER LEFT -> COMPANION RIGHT
MASTER RIGHT -> COMPANION LEFT
Party Link Stereo
Two identical model speakers can be used in Stereo L / R mode with the Party-Link-Stereo function. The speakers are paired via Bluetooth® and each speaker is assigned a
position L (left) or R (right).
- Speaker L is positioned to the left of the listener.
- Speaker R is positioned to the right of the listener.
Note:
- PARTY Bluetooth® channel 1.
- Before switching between Party-Link and Party-Link-Stereo functions, first end the currently active mode.
- Before using PARTY LINK, speakers must be configured as MASTER, SUB-MASTER, or COMPANION → Configuration
- PARTY LINK can also be set up via the Teufel Go App
How to activate the Party-Link-Stereo function
- Connect your audio source (e.g. smartphone) via Bluetooth® to the first speaker.
- Configure the first speaker as MASTER / SUB-MASTER → Configuration
- Press the PARTY LINK button on the MASTER / SUB-MASTER twice in succession. The button and the MASTER / SUB-MASTER LED will blink.
- Turn on another compatible speaker. The speaker must not have an active Bluetooth® connection. Configure this speaker as COMPANION→ Configuration
- Press button (25) on the COMPANION twice in succession. The button and the COMPANION LED will blink.
- Once the speakers are connected, both buttons (25) and the LEDs next to MASTER / SUB-MASTER and COMPANION will light up. The speakers are now in Stereo L / R mode, and media playback will be in stereo sound.
