Where can I find the user manual?
You can find the user manual at teufelaudio.com/operating-instructions. It’s best to use the search field there.
What can I connect to the IKONIO?
- USB-C input socket (16): Service or maintenance port
- LAN input socket (17): For a wired connection to your network or router.
- OPTICAL in (18) – For connecting digital audio sources, such as a TV or a game console with an optical audio output
- AUX IN (19): For connecting analog audio devices, such as a CD player, turntable (with built-in preamp), or another audio device with analog output.
- POWER (20): Connection for the included power cable.
Can I also mount the IKONIO on a stand?
Yes, the best option is to use the K&M stand for your IKONIO. You can find it in our webshop.
What should I consider when connecting a TV to the IKONIO?
Connect the TV via OPTICAL IN and set the digital audio format on the TV to PCM in the audio settings. Formats like Dolby Digital or Dolby Atmos cannot be processed via the optical input.
Note: The IKONIO is primarily designed as a streaming speaker. For best compatibility, we therefore recommend outputting a PCM signal.
Is there an app for control?
To control the IKONIO, please use the Teufel Home App (available in the Play Store / App Store).
Do I need to connect to the internet?
The IKONIO can also be used without the app or a Wi-Fi connection, for example via Bluetooth®. However, control via the Teufel Home App is only possible with an existing internet connection.
How do I establish an internet connection?
Connecting via LAN (Ethernet)
- Connect the IKONIO’s LAN port to your router or network switch.
- Turn on the speaker.
- The IKONIO will connect automatically to the network. No further setup is required.
- The status LED lights white once the connection is successfully established.
To use the full functionality of the IKONIO, please use the Teufel Home App.
Connecting via Wi-Fi
The IKONIO is set up via the Teufel Home App.

What is Dynamore® Ultra?
In the Teufel Home App, you can choose from three different configuration options for Dynamore® Ultra.
What can the Dynamore® and Dynamore® Ultra technologies do?
Immersive
In Immersive mode, a single IKONIO sounds similar to a high-quality stereo system. The sound dispersion is very wide but always remains natural.
Omnidirectional
In Omnidirectional mode, the IKONIO radiates evenly in all directions. Ideal if it is placed in the middle of the room, you move around the room, and want to enjoy the same sound at every listening position.
Mono
In this mode, Dynamore® Ultra is deactivated. The IKONIO radiates sound only forward. In a stereo setup, the left IKONIO plays the left channel, and the right IKONIO plays the right channel.
How do I connect two IKONIO speakers as a stereo pair?
With stereo pairing, you can use two IKONIO speakers as a true stereo system. One speaker takes over the left audio channel and the other the right audio channel. This creates true stereo sound with a significantly wider soundstage.
Setting up a stereo pair
- First set up both speakers separately in the Teufel Home App.
- Open the settings of one of the speakers.
- Select the function Create Stereo Pair.
- Follow the instructions in the app.
- Specify which speaker should play the left and which the right channel.
Canceling a stereo pair
Press and hold the Setup button on both speakers for at least 8 seconds or perform a factory reset on both devices.
How do I reset the IKONIO to factory settings?
Resetting to factory settings can be helpful if there are problems during setup, network connection issues, or after canceling a stereo pairing. After the reset, the speaker will be restored to its original delivery state.
Resetting to factory settings will delete not only the list of saved Bluetooth devices but also all system configuration settings.
How to perform a factory reset:
- Turn on the IKONIO.
- Locate the RESET button (13) on the back of the speaker.
- Press the RESET button with a bent paperclip and hold it for at least 8 seconds until the device restarts.
- The IKONIO will now be reset to factory settings.
After resetting:
- Wi-Fi will be selected again as the default source.
- Setup must be performed again via the Teufel Home App.
- All saved system settings will be deleted.
- The list of paired Bluetooth devices will be removed.
How do I clear the Bluetooth list?
You clear the Bluetooth list by resetting the device to factory settings.
I can’t hear anything although music is playing. What can I do?
Check the following points:
- Check if the correct source is selected (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AUX, or OPTICAL).
- Increase the volume directly on the speaker.
- Increase the volume on the playback device, for example, smartphone or tablet.
- On Android devices, an active volume limiter may reduce playback. Try disabling it temporarily.
- Check if the speaker is still connected to the playback device.
- Make sure the IKONIO is selected as the output device.
- Bluetooth connections may experience interference from other radio devices.
- If necessary, test the speaker in a different location.
