Is it possible to make a multiroom setup combining the STEREO M 2/ STEREO L 2 with speakers from the Teufel Raumfeld series such as the STEREO M?
No, the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 cannot be added to combined setups with the STEREO M / STEREO L (Raumfeld) for technical reasons.
Why was the product name STEREO M / STEREO L carried over to this product even though it is not a Teufel Raumfeld device?
The new STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 are acoustically and visually follow-up products to the STEREO M / L. That was why we decided to carry on the product name despite the fact we changed the integrated streaming hardware to the Teufel Home series.
Which of the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 speakers plays which channel in stereo mode, and can I change this in the settings?
Factory default is for the primary speaker (the one with the control panel) to be the left channel. The secondary is set as the right.
Note: Currently, the only way to manually change which speaker plays which channel is using the Android version of the Teufel Home App. We plan to make this function available for Apple device users (iOS) shortly.
Can I also control the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 with the Teufel Raumfeld App?
No, to control the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2, please use the Teufel Home App. (Android / iOS)
Is it possible to integrate the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 into a multiroom system with devices from the Teufel Streaming or Raumfeld series?
No. For technical reasons, the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 cannot be integrated into a preexisting multiroom system with Teufel Streaming/Raumfeld devices. Instead, the STEREO M 2 / STEREO L 2 are equipped with AirPlay2, and can be incorporated into existing AirPlay2 Multiroom systems, as well as Chromecast built-in devices (Google Chromecast Multiroom).
Can I also use Bluetooth with Teufel Home speakers?
Yes, all Teufel Home speakers are Bluetooth compatible.
My device won't start. What might be causing this?
Make sure your device is plugged into AC power.
I can't hear anything even though music is playing. What can I do?
- Check the volume on the device to make sure it isn't too low. Try increasing the volume.
- Volume too low on playback device (smartphone). Try increasing the volume on your playback device.
- Device is not connected with my playback device. Check the connection or repair your playback device with the speaker. Instructions can be found in the device user manual.
- Speaker not selected on playback device. Make certain in the playback device's settings that it is setup correctly. Find information on your device about this topic.
- If connected via Bluetooth®, another wireless system may be causing signal distortion. Try out the device in this setup in a new location.
- [Only for Android devices] The playback volume of the device may be limited by a system volume limiter, making it too quiet to hear. Check if a volume limiter has been setup on the device and deactivate it as a test.
Despite turning on my speaker, it is not reacting to any inputs. What can I do now?
There must be some sort of defect in your system causing it to freeze. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 8 seconds until the device restarts.
I can hear something, but playback is sporadic or shuts off completely. What might be causing this?
- The speaker may be outside of Wi-Fi signal range. Place the device somewhere else as a test. Ideally closer to the router.
- Your internet connection is unstable or the data transfer rate is too slow. Try placing the speaker closer to the router and/or test your internet or Wi-Fi connection.
