How do I connect the AIRY TWS to my smartphone?

Which devices are the AIRY TWS compatible with?
The AIRY TWS were specifically developed for use with smartphones/tablets (iOS/Android). Detection/pairing/use with Windows/MAC OS computers cannot be guaranteed, but should generally be possible.
How is the volume controlled?
You control the volume of the headphones on the playback device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
How can I re-pair the earbuds with each other?
The left and right earbuds are already paired by default. If you have lost one earbud, please purchase a new one and reset the TWS connection. To do this, remove one earbud from the charging box and press the first earbud three times. Then remove the second earbud and also press it three times.
AIRY TWS can no longer be connected to the mobile device?
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and that no other device is currently paired. Try turning the Bluetooth function of the mobile device off and on again.
- Delete the entry "Teufel AIRY TWS" from the list of saved Bluetooth devices on the
mobile device and pair again. - Make sure the mobile device and headphones are close to each other and both are in pairing mode. The pairing mode of the headphones starts when you press and hold the left and right multifunction area for 2.5 seconds.
- Try connecting a different mobile device. For this test, make sure the AIRY TWS are NOT currently actively connected to the first smartphone. If necessary, deactivate the Bluetooth function on the already paired device. Now start pairing again by pressing and holding the left and right multifunction area for 2.5 seconds.
How do I clear the Bluetooth pairing list?
If you want to clear the pairing list, place the earbuds in the charging case and then press the multifunction buttons on the earbuds for 4 seconds (model "AIRY TRUE WIRELESS" (no longer available) about 8 seconds). The pairing list will be cleared and the earbuds will switch to pairing mode.
My earbuds are not charging?
This could be because the earbuds are equipped with a protective film on the charging contacts from the factory – essentially for transport or discharge protection. These films must be removed, otherwise the earbuds will not charge in the charging case.
If the earbuds still do not charge after removing the film, please leave the headphones charging in the connected case for about 12 hours.
Can the earbuds be used individually – for example, only the right earbud?
Yes, that is possible – however, the second earbud should be in the charging case, otherwise it will not be muted and will continue to play, for example, while lying on the table.

This is often due to the fit of the earbuds in your ear – recommendations for the correct fit can be found here.
Does it damage the battery if the headphones are always kept in the charging case?
Charging is performed until "full," after which it switches to trickle charging – so you can safely leave the earbuds in the charging case.

The headphones cannot be connected to Windows/Mac computers
The product was not specifically developed for Windows/MAC OS computers. Therefore, we cannot guarantee compatibility with Windows/MAC OS computers. However, the following tips may help you connect to a computer, though we cannot guarantee success:
- Make sure your computer has the latest operating system installed
- Check whether the headphones can be recognized as an audio device (not as a printer, mouse, or similar)
- Check whether both the computer and headphones are really in pairing mode.
- Make sure that neither the computer nor the headphones are connected to another device at the time of pairing or connection. Try turning off other active Bluetooth devices nearby.
Are the headphones waterproof?
The AIRY TWS are certified to protection class IPX 5 (protection against water spray), which means you can wear them in light rain without worry. However, the headphones are not waterproof for temporary or prolonged submersion.
