The Line In playback on my Raumfeld device sounds distorted or cuts out

When using the Line-In input on 2nd generation devices (identifiable by the two LEDs on the front), two issues can occur during playback:

• The sound is distorted
• Playback during Line-In streaming partially cuts out

The cause in both cases is usually an input level that is too high or a Line-In gain that is set too high.

Solution:

Adjust the Line-In gain in the app:

1. Open the Teufel Raumfeld app
2. Open the menu
3. Tap on Settings and then on "Rooms and Devices"
4. Select the corresponding room or device
5. Under "SOUND" you can adjust the Line-In gain. Gradually reduce the Line-In gain
6. After each adjustment, check:
   • If the playback is distortion-free
   • If the streaming runs stable without interruptions
