It can understandably be frustrating when the brand-new system at home starts to stutter or cannot even be set up because the home network and router are simply overwhelmed by the music streaming technology. However, the home network is often not recognized as the cause, even though in most cases it is the reason for interruptions.
Before purchasing a music streaming system, we therefore recommend checking the existing infrastructure, especially the router. If your router is older than 2-3 years, it is likely already at its capacity in terms of performance. Music streaming means that ultimately a huge amount of data must be continuously transmitted over the network. You should take this into account before making a purchase.
