Warranty
You can find the complete Teufel warranty conditions in section 4 of our General Business Conditions (GBC).
We provide a 2-year warranty for electronic devices, electrical components and electrical parts, portables, headphones, streaming and/or Bluetooth devices, and active speakers, as well as for enclosures, chassis, and crossovers of passive speakers.
We also provide a 2-year warranty for updates that ensure the continued functionality of products with digital content.
Additional Provisions
General:
- The warranty period begins upon delivery of the purchased item.
- Performing warranty services does not extend or restart the warranty period.
- A prerequisite for warranty services is that you present a copy of the original receipt together with the device.
- The warranty only applies to new Teufel brand products purchased directly by the first buyer from Lautsprecher Teufel GmbH.
- In the case of a private resale of Teufel products, the warranty can be transferred to the purchaser as long as the original receipt is handed over.
- We do not provide a warranty for free promotional items, paid fan merchandise (e.g., T-shirts, caps, jackets), and used goods (especially C-goods).
- For third-party products, the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturer may apply.
- Outside the warranty, the statutory warranty provisions apply.
- The warranty does not cover damage to the enclosure or surface resulting from natural or normal wear and aging (e.g., discoloration). The warranty claim also expires if you repaint the enclosure.
Software:
- As soon as updates are available, you will be informed via the app, the display, or our support page, depending on the product.
- We reserve the right to adapt and further develop products to new technical requirements (e.g., new operating systems). We assume no liability for damages caused by your failure to install provided updates.
- The warranty does not cover changes to the device software or external software made by other companies after delivery. Please note that third parties (e.g., streaming services) have access to your device and may make changes.
Do I have the full Teufel warranty for B-stock as well?
Yes! Basically, the same warranty conditions apply to B-stock as to our A-stock. In addition, for B-stock you also have our full 8-week return policy in addition to the statutory cancellation rights.
What do I do if something is defective?
If defects occur within the contractual warranty periods, we must first examine the cause. The defects must not be due to improper use, incorrect handling, or alterations to the device (e.g., opening the enclosure or removing components; except Teufel MYND).
They must also not have been caused by electrical or mechanical overload. Furthermore, neither you nor third parties must have attempted repairs (except Teufel MYND).
If these conditions are met, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the device. If we no longer have an identical device available, we are entitled to provide you with a technically equivalent replacement device. If the selected form of warranty fulfilment is not possible, we will refund the current value of the device.
If you comply with our return instructions, packaging guidelines, and packaging instructions for hazardous goods when sending in justified contractual warranty claims, we bear the risk of damage and loss during transport and cover the return shipping costs, provided the return is made from one of the countries we supply.
