Teufel Remote App: Setting Up a Device

This article helps you set up the RADIO 3SIXTY, MUSICSTATION, and KOMBO 62 (2025) using the Teufel Remote App

Preparation

• Have your Wi-Fi password ready
• Download the Teufel Remote App to your smartphone Download App (links) 

Link > App Download for iPhones > to the Apple App Store 
Link > App Download for Android > to the Google Play Store

Getting Started on the Radio

1. Connect the device to the power supply and turn it on
2. The display will show "Set up device?" Here select "Yes"
3. Review the terms of use and accept them.
4. Choose the type of setup (via app or on the device)

Note: This article informs you about setup via the Teufel Remote App. For the "Setup on the device" option, you can use the enclosed manual.

Setup via Teufel Remote App 

• Start the Teufel Remote App 
• Grant location access if prompted. Help?
• Review the privacy policy and accept the terms

• Ignore the automatic search and tap the option "Set up audio system" at the bottom of the app. This starts the app’s setup assistant.

• Now activate the setup mode on the RADIO 3SIXTY and continue by tapping the "Next" button in the app.

• The device now creates a temporary setup Wi-Fi network, which your smartphone must connect to. The assistant will then automatically proceed to the next step.

Note: On Android devices, connecting to the setup Wi-Fi network happens automatically. On iPhones, please open the iPhone main menu "Settings," then go to "Wi-Fi" and look for a Wi-Fi network named "Audio System+numbers," for example, "Audio System 00:22:99:13:90." Connect your iPhone to this setup Wi-Fi network.

• Naming the Device: In the next step, you have the option to assign a permanent name to the device. 

• In the next step, the device will adopt the date & time from your smartphone. Confirm this by tapping "Next"
• Now you can – if desired – select the display language. Currently, German and English are available
• Next, assign your home Wi-Fi to the device and enter the Wi-Fi password. Then tap "Next" to complete the setup.

• Wait until the setup completes automatically. The device is now set up and ready to use. The next time you start the Remote App, the device will be shown under "Audio System" and can be selected as a player there.
