To use Google Home devices with voice control for music selection on a Teufel system, you can connect it with Google Home if the Teufel system offers either a Chromecast or a Bluetooth interface.
Most Google Home devices (e.g., Google Home, Home Mini, Home Max, and Nest Hub) support Bluetooth.
How to connect your Google Home device to an external speaker
- Put your external speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode. We describe exactly how this works in the respective user manual.
- Open the Google Home app on your smartphone.
- Tap "Devices" at the top right.
There you will see a list of all your Google Home and Nest devices. - Select the Google Home device you want to connect to the speaker.
- Tap the gear icon at the top right to open settings.
- Scroll to "Paired devices."
- Tap "Pair Bluetooth device."
- Select your external speaker from the list and connect it.
✔ Now Google Home plays music, podcasts, etc., through your Bluetooth speaker.
