What are the differences between ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE and ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2?
The ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2 differs from the previous generation ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE primarily by a redesigned look, use of FSC-certified MDF for the housing and front panel, a modernized remote control, and an expanded scope of delivery. Additionally, cable lengths were adjusted: the power cable was extended from 1.2 m to 1.5 m, and the speaker cable from 3.5 m to 5 m. The ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2 also includes eight resonance dampers (rubber feet) in the package.
What connections does ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE and ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2 have?
- HDMI TV ARC/eARC: HDMI port for TV devices.
- USB-C port: with USB-C sound card function for PC/Mac; connect to a PC with a USB data cable (USB-C).
- OPTICAL IN: optical digital input used to connect media players, TV receivers, or TV devices.
- AUX IN: using a standard RCA cable, you can connect a turntable (requirement: you need a phono preamplifier, more info here), a CD player, or similar devices to the speakers.
- Wireless module: enables wireless connection to rear speakers and subwoofer.
- Bluetooth: allows wireless transmission of audio signals from your smartphone or tablet.
Can I expand my ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE / ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2 with additional speakers/subwoofers?
You can expand your ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE with an additional pair of rear speakers (EFFEKT 2) and subwoofers T 8, T 10, or T 4000 Wireless. In the webshop, you can find sets already assembled by us. Remote Control
The remote control operates your ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE via infrared. If it stops working, please contact our customer service.
Which side should the active speaker of the ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE / ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2 be on?
You can place the active speaker either to the left or right of your listening position. The important thing is to correctly set the speaker position in the menu afterward.
Go to the Menu ► Speakers ► Position ► Left / Right
There you specify whether the active speaker is on the left or right. The passive speaker automatically takes the opposite position. This ensures that the stereo channels are reproduced correctly.
How do I delete settings or perform a reset?
With the ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE, you can perform a factory reset, which restores all settings to their default values. Afterward, you'll need to set up the system again. Alternatively, you can reset only specific settings, such as the Bluetooth® pairing list, the connections to paired speakers (rear speakers/subwoofer), or the sound and radio settings.
- If you want to delete the Bluetooth® list, you have the following options:
- Press and hold the Bluetooth® button (Bluetooth® symbol) on the control panel or the Bluetooth® button (BT) on the remote control for 8 seconds.
- Delete the Bluetooth® list via the menu: Menu path: System ► Reset ► Bluetooth.
- If you want to remove/cancel the connection to the paired speakers (rears/subwoofer), use this menu path: System ► Reset ► Rears/Subw.
The wireless connection/pairing of the selected speaker will then be deleted. - If you want to delete the sound settings, use this menu path: System ► Reset ► Sound
- If you want to delete the radio settings, use this menu path: System ► Reset ► Radio
- Reset to factory settings
NOTE: All user settings and data will be deleted and reset to factory defaults. You will need to set everything up again afterward.

My ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE / ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE 2 automatically switches to the "Optical" source even though no signal is currently input there. What causes this?
Possible cause: Auto-On for the Optical input is active. Auto-On also reacts to possible test signals.
Solution: Turn off the "Auto On" function for Optical.
Menu path: System ► Advanced ► AutoSwitch ► TV HDMI / Bluetooth / AUX / USB / Optical ► On / Off.
When switching sources during playback, e.g. from Spotify to YouTube, playback suddenly mutes. What can I do?
Solution: Press pause briefly, then press play again.
ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE: System is unresponsive while the display shows an update message
Problem: The ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE does not respond to any inputs, is "frozen," and the display shows: "Update, please connect to PC." The device can no longer be operated, and nothing happens when connecting to a PC.
