Note: Product-specific settings/features such as channel assignment for STEREO M 2 / L2 or the display of battery status (MOTIV®HOME, MOTIV® XL) are not covered here and can be found in the respective product manuals.
To set up a product from the Teufel Home series (MOTIV® HOME, MOTIV® XL, STEREO M2 / STEREO L2), follow these steps:
- Ensure that the smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network where the Teufel Home product is to be integrated and download the Teufel Home App to your smartphone
- Press the setup button on the back of the speaker
- Open or switch to the Teufel Home App and select the "Add Product" button. (If a device has already been set up, it will be displayed under "My Products"
- The app will automatically search for compatible products until they are found and displayed. Then tap the "Set Up Now" button
- Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the Wi-Fi password, and click "Connect"
- After connecting the product, it will search for and install available updates. Then tap the "Get Started" button and in the next step "Personalize"
- You can now give the product a custom name or choose a name from the list. Then tap "Next"
- In the next step, you can activate "Google Cast" (formerly Chromecast) or skip this step (Activation can also be done later at any time)
- The product is now ready to play. By tapping "Select Your Sound," it will be selected as the playback device.
