Why is there now a Teufel Home App?
The Teufel Home App was developed to configure devices from the new Teufel Home series such as the STEREO M 2 and the MOTIV HOME for use in an at-home Wi-Fi network, as well as offer expanded audio options or to download and install firmware updates. For technical reasons, the Teufel Raumfeld App is not compatible with the new Teufel Home streaming series.
Do I need the Teufel Home App if I already use the Teufel Raumfeld App?
Streaming speakers from the new Teufel Home series can only be configured for Wi-Fi use with the Teufel Home App. If you would like to use a Teufel Home speaker, the Teufel Home App is thus required for setup and management. The Teufel Raumfeld App is still available for all Teufel Raumfeld devices. For technical reasons, the Teufel Raumfeld App is not compatible with the new Teufel Home streaming series.
Teufel Home App: which devices can currently be controlled using this app?
At present, the MOTIV HOME and STEREO M 2 can be setup and managed with the Teufel Home App. We plan to add more products in the future.

The Teufel Home App is available as a free download for Android and Apple devices. Click here to download
- Apple devices require iOS 15 or higher
- Android devices require Android X or higher
The Teufel Home App is offered for both Android and iOS devices. Are there differences between the Android and iOS apps?
Differences in feature set between the app versions are possible due to differences in hardware, and will be eliminated by upcoming releases.
The STEREO M 2: the following setup options are currently only available for Android devices
- Extended audio settings (positioning in room/AUX signal amplification)
- Stereo settings (balance/stereo setup (setting which speaker plays which channel)
- Set LED brightness/Lock on-device controls
I have music stored on Network Storage devices at home. Can I stream it to Teufel Home devices?
Network storage device playback (UPnP) can be accomplished using a wide range of apps, which scan the home Wi-Fi network for media content and display it. Examples are:
Teufel Home App: can I import/edit/set a cover photo for my own playlists?
Favorites and playlists can be played on Teufel Home speakers through the usual apps such as Spotify or TIDAL. This option makes importing favorites or playlists into the Teufel Home App unnecessary.
Teufel Home App: how do I select favorites which can then be called up on my device?
Radio: you can save your favorite stations to the preset buttons on the Teufel Home speakers to make them easier to turn on. If you have more favorites, simply use the TuneIn App yourself.
