The battery of my headphones or Bluetooth device is not charging

In this article you will find possible causes and suggested solutions if the battery of your headphones or portable device does not charge. If the battery still won't charge, please contact us.

Notes on the battery

• If your headphones/device have been exposed to high or low temperatures, allow them to adjust to 
  room temperature and then try charging them again.
• The battery may be deeply discharged. Deep discharge is not normally a defect. We therefore recommend that you charge the devices once for at least 24 hours using the supplied charging cable/power supply unit to rule out a defect, even if the charging LED does not light up immediately.

Check the power supply unit/charging adapter

• Is it connected correctly? Use a different socket as a test.
• Are both ends of the charging cable plugged in correctly and securely? Try using a different charging cable.
• If your charger has been exposed to high or low temperatures, allow it to adjust to 
  room temperature and then try charging the battery/device again.
• if no charging adapter was supplied:
  • Does the power of your charging adapter/plug meet the minimum required by your product to operate and/or charge its battery? You can find the power specifications either in the operating instructions or on the product page in the webshop. USB-C charging adapters with a higher wattage output can also be used, as the product draws its power variably from them. If your charging adapter/plug delivers too little power, use a different one.

If the wireless headphones cannot be charged:

• Make sure that the headphones are correctly inserted into the charging case and correct this if necessary.
• Make sure that the battery in the charging case is not empty. If the charging case battery is empty, charge it.
• Check whether there is dirt or deposits on the charging contacts in the case
