Since the RADIO ONE is usually placed next to the bed, the dimming function is of particular importance.
How to adjust the dimming function of the RADIO ONE
- Turn on the radio and press the menu button (see illustration on the left) and navigate through the menu using the rotary knob to the item "Dimming." Now press the center of the volume control.
- You are now in the "Dimming" menu and can set the brightness of the display for the powered-on state (SPKR. ON) as well as for the powered-off state (STANDBY). Select the desired operating mode using the rotary knob and then press the center of the volume control.
- Use the rotary knob to select the desired brightness level here (LOW, MID
(MEDIUM), HIGH) or set it to automatic (menu item "AUTO"). For the powered-off state (STANDBY), OFF is also available. - Confirm by pressing the center of the volume control.
If you activate the automatic function, the integrated light sensor ensures optimal brightness regulation in your bedroom, utility room, or living area. This function creates a harmonious balance between lighting and surroundings.
Note: Due to the light fabric, the display brightness is somewhat more noticeable on devices in the "Light Gray" color than in the "Black" version.
4. To return to the original state, press the menu button.
When I set the alarm time, the RADIO ONE no longer dims. What can I do?
If you set the alarm in standby mode, the brightness of the RADIO ONE remains at the current value.
Solution: Turn the RADIO ONE on briefly or take it out of standby. Then the dimmer will work correctly again.
If you set the alarm time while the device is running, this error does not occur.
