Please pay attention to the serial number!

To ensure the proper functioning of the update, it is important to determine the serial number!

Please use only the download link → Version A - Firmware Update
For devices with a “B” in the serial number
Please use only the download link → Version B - Firmware Update
For devices with a “C” in the serial number
Please use only the download link → Version C - Firmware Update
Step-by-step update process
A) What do I need?
- RADIO ONE, ready to use
- Empty USB stick (recommended: max. storage 4 GB, formatted with FAT32)
- Computer with Windows operating system (other operating systems are not supported)
B) Preparations
- First, save the respective update file locally on your computer.
- Connect the USB stick to the PC and format the USB stick to FAT32 if another format was previously installed.
- Unzip the update file on your computer and move or copy the unzipped "system" folder unchanged to the USB stick.
- Safely eject the USB stick to prevent file corruption.
C) Execution
- Connect RADIO ONE to the power supply and turn it on.
- Set the device to the "AUX" input (Menu path > Source > AUX > confirm).
Note: If you have an AUX cable, you can simply plug it in so that the device automatically switches to the AUX input.
- Insert the USB stick with the saved firmware into the USB port on the back of the device.
- Now press and hold the "Favorite 1" (5) and "Bluetooth" (11) buttons together until "Upgrade" appears on the display. Then release the buttons.
- The update will now start automatically. Wait until "UPGSUc" appears on the device display (i.e., Upgrade successful). The process takes about 10-20 seconds.
- Now remove the USB stick and then unplug the power cord from the socket for about 30 seconds.
- Afterwards, reconnect the device to the power supply and turn it on.
- Finally, perform a factory reset of the radio (Menu path > Reset > Full > confirm). Please note that after the reset, RADIO ONE must be set up again.
The update did not work. What can I do now?
If the update does not work as described in step 5, please check the USB stick and repeat the Preparation (B). If necessary, use a USB stick with smaller storage (max. 4 GB).
