Yes. You can use active noise cancellation (ANC) without playing music or other audio signals at the same time.
This allows you to reduce distracting ambient noise even when you do not want to listen to anything.
Why does my headphones turn off even though ANC is enabled?
Automatic shutoff can also take effect when ANC is enabled. For the following models, automatic shutoff or switching to sleep mode without audio playback occurs by default after 10 minutes:
- REAL BLUE NC 3
- REAL BLUE PRO
- AIRY SPORTS TWS 2
- AIRY TWS PRO

How can I use ANC longer without audio playback?
For the models listed above with a 10-minute shutoff time, you can adjust the time until automatic shutoff in the Teufel Go App.
To set the Auto-Off Timer to “Never”:
- Open the Teufel Go App and select your headphones.
- Open the product settings.
- Scroll to Auto-Off Timer.
- Tap Auto-Off Timer and select “Never” or another time.
Note: If you have disabled automatic shutoff, remember to turn off the headphones when you no longer need them.
Note: The REAL BLUE NC (2020 and older) and the first-generation REAL BLUE TWS do not support the Teufel Go App. Therefore, you cannot adjust automatic shutoff for these models through the app. Teufel Go App
