Since October 1, 2026, ARD has restricted the availability of its radio livestreams through third-party services outside Germany. Platforms such as TuneIn, radio.net, and myTuner Radio are among those affected. Since many Teufel devices provide internet radio through TuneIn or the airable radio aggregator, ARD radio stations may no longer be playable on these devices outside Germany. Other radio stations are generally not affected by this change.
👉The ARD provides more information at hilfe.ard.de.
Note: The restriction only affects ARD radio stations outside Germany. If other radio stations continue to work, there is no defect with your Teufel device.
How can I continue listening to ARD radio stations?
Teufel Streaming / Raumfeld
If ARD radio stations are no longer available abroad via TuneIn, you can use the ARD Sounds app on your smartphone or tablet and stream playback to your Teufel device via Bluetooth.
Teufel Home
Depending on the model, devices in the Teufel Home product line support Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Google Cast. This allows you to stream ARD radio stations directly from the ARD Sounds app to your Teufel device.
Teufel Remote App
If ARD radio stations are no longer available through the integrated internet radio service, playback can alternatively be initiated through the ARD Sounds app and a Bluetooth connection.
Bluetooth Speakers
Start playback in the ARD Sounds app and connect your smartphone or tablet to the speaker via Bluetooth.
