What is the difference between down-firing and front-firing operation?
With which products can I wirelessly connect the T 10 Mk2 subwoofer?
If you want to wirelessly connect the T 10 MK2 subwoofer to an AV receiver or stereo receiver, you need the Subwoofer Wireless Transmitter. Alternatively, in this case, a connection via subwoofer cable is also possible.
How do I connect the subwoofer wirelessly to a sound system?
The connection between your sound system (soundbar, active speaker, AV receiver, or the Subwoofer Wireless Transmitter) and the T 10 Mk2 subwoofer is made via Teufel’s integrated radio technology and not via Bluetooth.
Here’s how to establish a wireless connection:
- Make sure no cable is connected to SUB IN on the T 10 Mk2 subwoofer.
- Turn on your sound system and start the pairing process. How exactly to do this can be found in your device’s user manual.
- Turn on your T 10 MK2 subwoofer.
- Start the pairing process on your T 10 MK2 subwoofer by pressing the "Pairing" button.
- The status LED will blink.
- Start the pairing process on your sound system. How exactly this works is described in your device’s user manual.
- Once both devices are successfully connected, the status LED will glow solid white.
Can I connect the T 10 Mk2 subwoofer by cable?
Yes. The T 10 Mk2 subwoofer has a SUB-IN input and can be connected via a mono RCA cable to an AV receiver or other compatible devices. Once a cable is detected, the subwoofer automatically switches to cable mode.
How does the automatic power on/off function work?
The T 10 Mk2 subwoofer has an AUTO mode. In this mode, the subwoofer automatically turns on as soon as an audio signal is detected.
If no audio signal is received for about 20 minutes, the subwoofer automatically switches to standby mode. The sensitivity of the automatic power-on can be adjusted via the "AUTO ON SENSITIVITY" control.
Tip: If the subwoofer does not reliably switch on automatically, you can increase the sensitivity using the "AUTO ON SENSITIVITY" control.
How do I correctly set gain, phase, and low pass?
- With the Low Pass control, you set the highest frequency the subwoofer should reproduce. This allows you to adjust the bass playback to your speakers. If the value is set too high, the frequency ranges of speakers and subwoofer can overlap. If it is set too low, bass may be lost.
- With the Phase switch, you adjust the phase of the subwoofer to align bass playback with the other speakers. First, set the phase switch to 0°. Then listen to a music track or movie scene with strong bass and switch to 180°. Keep the setting where the bass sounds fuller, stronger, and more even at your listening position.
- With the Gain control, you set the volume of the subwoofer. Increase the value if the bass sounds too quiet, and decrease it if the bass is too dominant or boomy.

Why won’t the subwoofer connect wirelessly?
Please check the following possible causes:
- Has the pairing mode been activated on both devices (subwoofer and sound system)?
→ Restart the pairing process on both devices. - Is an RCA cable plugged into the SUB-IN input?
→ Remove the cable. Reason: The T 10 Mk2 automatically switches to cable mode as soon as an RCA cable is connected and disables the wireless module. - Are other radio sources such as Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, or microwaves interfering with the connection?
→ Increase the distance from possible interference sources and try pairing again.
