A short crackling sound from the speakers of a home theatre system/soundbar during or immediately after a TV channel change is most likely caused by the audio signal being disconnected for a short time, as this also changes.
You can try changing the connection cable and changing the audio settings on the AV receiver and TV. However, in most cases, this will not solve this phenomenon.
If the TV outputs the audio signal through its own speakers, the volume is so low that you hardly notice the crackling, or the device itself regulates these signal peaks.
However, if the sound is output on a home theatre/soundbar, a short crackle may occur when the sound signal changes.
Tip: Lower the TV output volume to a minimum using the TV remote control and increase the basic volume on the home theatre/soundbar instead. This can significantly reduce the crackling.
