FAQ
How do I connect the AIRY TWS to my smartphone?
Please read the instructions in the supplied user manual from page 18 onwards.
Which devices are the AIRY TWS compatible with?
The AIRY TWS have been specially developed for use with smartphones/tablets (iOS/Android). We cannot guarantee recognition/coupling/use on Windows/MAC OS computers, but this should generally be possible.
How do I control the volume?
You control the volume of the headphones on the playback device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
My headphones were/are already successfully connected to a smartphone. How can I now pair another smartphone?
Make sure that the AIRY TWS is currently NOT actively connected to the first smartphone. If necessary, deactivate the Bluetooth function on the already paired device. Now start pairing again (as described in the operating instructions from page 18) with another smartphone.
How can the earbuds be paired with each other again?
The left and right earbuds are already paired by default. If you have lost an earbud, please buy a new one and reset the TWS connection. To do this, take one earbud out of the charging box and press the first earbud three times. Then take out the second earbud and press it three times as well.
How do I delete the Bluetooth pairing list?
If you want to delete the pairing list, place the earbuds in the charging cradle and then press the multifunction buttons on the earbuds for 4 seconds (model "AIRY TRUE WIRELESS" (no longer available) approx. 8 seconds). The pairing list is deleted and the earbuds switch to connection mode.
My earphones are not charging....
This could be due to the fact that the earphones are supplied with an adhesive foil on the charging contacts - a kind of transport or discharge protection. This film must be removed, otherwise the handsets will not charge in the charging case.
If the headphones do not charge despite removing the foil, please leave the headphones to charge in the connected case for approx. 12 hours.
Can the earphones also be used individually - e.g. only the right earphone?
Yes, this is possible - but the second earphone should be in the charging case, otherwise it will not be muted and will continue to play, e.g. when lying on the table.
I miss the bass...
This is often due to the fit of the headphones in the ear - you can find recommendations for the right fit here.
Does it damage the battery if the headphones are always in the charging case?
They charge until "full" and then switch to trickle charging - so you can leave them in the charging case without worrying.
Are the earphones, silicone adapters and charging case available separately?
You can find these spare parts in our webshop
Are the silicone attachments available in sizes other than S, M and L?
We are currently unable to offer any other sizes or intermediate sizes.
The headphones cannot be paired with Windows/Mac computers
The product has not been developed for Windows/MAC OS computers. Therefore, we cannot guarantee compatibility with Windows/MAC OS computers. However, the following tips can help without guarantee to establish a connection to a computer if it does not work:
- Make sure your computer has the latest operating system installed
- Check whether the headphones can be recognized as an audio device (not a printer, mouse or similar)
- Check whether the computer and headphones are really in pairing mode.
- Make sure that neither the computer nor the headphones are connected to another device at the time of pairing or establishing a connection. Switch off other active Bluetooth devices in the vicinity as a test.
Are the headphones waterproof?
The AIRY TWS are certified to protection class IPX 5 (protection against water spray), which means you can wear them in the drizzle without any worries. The headphones are not waterproof in terms of temporary/permanent submersion.
