The ROCKSTER and ROCKSTER AIR have a central control unit. This also stores the battery status. In some cases, however, the software may not process this information accurately. If you suspect that the battery of your ROCKSTER / ROCKSTER AIR is not charging properly and/or is discharging very quickly, even though the device was actually charged for a long time beforehand, a reset may help:
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove the six screws of the battery compartment cover (without affecting the warranty claim, of course).
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
In the battery compartment you will see the battery with a red and a black cable with connectors- The red cable always belongs to the positive pole (+) of the battery.
- The black cable always belongs to the negative pole (-) of the battery.
- Push the plastic cap from the lug onto the cable so that you can see the lug.
- Using a small pair of pliers, gently press down the latch (4) and pull the connector (1) off the battery.
- Remove the battery from the device.
