How to install the update:
The update is transmitted wirelessly ("Over-The-Air") via the internet to your MOTIV® HOME and installed automatically. Make sure your MOTIV® HOME is connected to the internet so that the update can be installed. During the update process, the three LEDs on the left and three LEDs on the right flash alternately.
What to do if the update fails.
If the device remains stuck in update or bootloader mode for longer than 15 minutes after the update (recognizable by the alternately flashing LEDs), try one of the following solutions:
- Restart: Unplug the power cord. Hold down the power button on the MOTIV® HOME. Plug the power cord back in.
- Fully discharge the battery: Unplug the power cord. Wait until the battery is completely empty. (Tip: You can connect a smartphone or tablet via USB to discharge the battery faster.) After it is fully discharged, reconnect your MOTIV® HOME to the power. The device will then restart.
- Restart the update: Check if your MOTIV® HOME is visible in the Teufel Home App. Initiate the update via the app. The device will then restart.
