What sources can the BOOMSTER play?
The speaker supports:
- DAB+ digital radio
- FM radio
- Bluetooth (streaming from smartphone)
- AUX input (3.5 mm)

How do I connect two BOOMSTER speakers together?
Note: The BOOMSTER 4 cannot be connected with previous BOOMSTER models (sold from October 2021).
BOOMSTER (sold from October 2021)
The BOOMSTER offers the TWS function, which allows sound to be played simultaneously from two BOOMSTER speakers.
- Connect your source device to the first BOOMSTER.

To activate the TWS pairing mode, press the Bluetooth button (3) and the + button (at 8) simultaneously on one of the devices.
- Press the Bluetooth button (3) and the + button (at 8) simultaneously on the other BOOMSTER.
- After successful pairing, the message “TWS pairing” will appear on the display.
To switch between the two speakers, press the Bluetooth button (3) and the favorite button 1/3 (7) simultaneously.

- Connect your external audio source via Bluetooth® or USB to the first speaker.
- Press and hold the button combination Bluetooth (6) and Play/Pause (9) on the first speaker for 4 seconds. "TWS" will be displayed.

- Press and hold the button combination Bluetooth (6) and Play/Pause (9) on the second speaker for 4 seconds. "TWS" will be displayed on the screen (16).
- When the connection is established, "LEFT" will be displayed on the first speaker and "RIGHT" on the second speaker.
If you want to switch the stereo channel between L / R, press and hold the button combination (6) | / (11) on the speaker for 1.5 seconds to switch the stereo channel. The display will then show "LEFT" / "RIGHT" accordingly.
Is the BOOMSTER protected against water ingress?
Yes, the BOOMSTER is protected according to IPX5 against water jets from all directions. It is not protected against submersion but can withstand water jets from garden hoses, rain, or similar.

Why is no power supply/USB-C charging adapter included with the BOOMSTER 4?
For operation and charging of the BOOMSTER 4, a USB-C charging adapter with a minimum requirement of 15 W (5 V / 3 A) is required.
- Recommended: USB-C Power Adapter 30W (link to Teufel webshop)
- If you want to charge and play loud music at the same time, it is best to use: USB-C Power Adapter 60 W (link to Teufel webshop)

How do I reset the BOOMSTER to factory settings?
To reset all values to factory settings (Teufel BOOMSTER reset), press and hold the power button (1) and the BASS button (2) together on the BOOMSTER for 8 seconds. This will delete all Bluetooth device lists and saved parameters.
Note: The illustration shows the BOOMSTER MK3 21. The procedure is identical for the BOOMSTER 4.
Why won’t my BOOMSTER start after being in standby for a long time?
The BOOMSTER has a deep discharge protection for its built-in battery, called the deep sleep mode. If the BOOMSTER is not connected to the power grid, the device switches to this deep sleep mode after about 10 hours.
You can turn your BOOMSTER on from this deep sleep mode by pressing the power button for about 8 seconds. In this case, you press longer than for a "normal" startup.
Note: It is not possible to start from deep sleep mode using the remote control.
I listen to radio via FM — but the reception is noisy?
Possible cause: Reception signal too weak.
Solution: Fully extend the telescopic antenna. Change the orientation of the antenna. Place the BOOMSTER in a different location. Connecting an external antenna is not possible.

How do I initiate a new channel scan for available DAB+ stations?
BOOMSTER: Hold down the forward button in DAB mode to initiate a new scan.
BOOMSTER 4: Press and hold the source button (7) in DAB mode for about 4 seconds to initiate a new scan.
The display will now show "SCAN" and the number of stations found. The search for new DAB+ stations will be carried out. Once the scan is complete, you will receive all available DAB+ stations.
