How can I tell if I have a ROCKSTER GO or a ROCKSTER GO 2?
The charging ports have a different appearance:
The ROCKSTER GO 2 (in the left picture): has no rubber cap, so the USB-C port is always visible
The ROCKSTER GO: has a rubber cap, which covers two inputs - an AUX and a Micro USB
Cann I pair a ROCKSTER GO or ROCKSTER GO 2 with other devices?
Two ROCKSTER GOs can be paired using Bluetooth for synchronized playback. Each device will then play as usual, with a left and right channel handled by the respective drivers.
Two ROCKSTER GO 2s can be paired using Bluetooth and set as either the left or right channel in the stereo setup, meaning they will play true stereo. Up to 100 ROCKSTER GO 2s can be paired in a speaker chain as well (no channel selection possible).
Note: the ROCKSTER GO and ROCKSTER GO 2 are not compatible with one another.
Is the ROCKSTER GO/GO 2 waterproof?
They are both IPX7 certified, meaning they can take a lot of exposure to water, and is even rated for up to 30 minutes immersion in up to 1 meter of water. The GO 2 is also IPX 67 rated for additional protection against dust.
How do I clear the Bluetooth list?
Hold the Bluetooth button for approximately 10 seconds until you hear two short beeps.
How do I pair 2 ROCKSTER GOs/GO 2s?
Please note: the ROCKSTER GO and ROCKSTER GO 2 are not compatible with one another. You can only pair two ROCKSTER GOs with one another, and two or more ROCKSTER GO 2s with one another.
Press and hold for approximately three seconds the Bluetooth and + buttons. This starts pairing and the ring around the Bluetooth button will pulse blue.
Then start pairing on the second device (press and hold Bluetooth and + for 3 seconds). Both devices will pair with each other shortly. On the ROCKSTER GO, the ring around the Bluetooth button should show solid blue. Both devices will now play the same music.
To turn paired mode off, press and hold the Bluetooth and - buttons for approximately 3 seconds.
Can I use the ROCKSTER GO/ GO 2 with my computer?
The ROCKSTER GO / GO 2 comes equipped with an integrated USB sound card for audio playback. No driver software is necessary to install on the computer. The operating system will recognize the USB connection as USB Advanced Audio Device.
Connect the device to your PC USB slot. You can use the included charging cable to accomplish this, which will be a USB-C for the ROCKSTER GO 2, or a Micro USB-B to A with USB 2.0 standard for the ROCKSTER GO.
Is your ROCKsTER GO beeping in sets of two?
When the battery charge is low, the ROCKSTER GO will repeatedly give double warning beeps and the lowest battery display LED will blink. Depending on volume, it will still be able to play for 10 to 15 minutes. Please charge your ROCKSTER GO. If the battery is charged, this can indicate a malfunction. Please contact Teufel.
