Version 2.12.3 > Release Date: 28.04.2020
/ Error Handling
The firmware for Teufel Streaming and Raumfeld products is constantly being developed. This update includes the following:
Enhanced network discovery: for more stability, especially in multi-room systems, the discovery of devices on the network has been enhanced*.
*Important note: ALL streaming devices require firmware 2.12 for advanced detection to work.
- The support of own music in WMA format is dropped because this format was rarely used. Convert** existing WMA files to MP3.
**Tip: Check out our blog to learn more about converting files > https://blog.teufelaudio.com/audio-converters-how-to-easily-convert-to-mp3-flac-aac-and-co/.
- TuneIn: Search for podcasts
- TIDAL: Display of audio books
- Spotify: Switch from Spotify music to podcasts
- Possible crash of devices with firmware 2.11.3 which are connected via LAN cable
- Connection problems (especially after power disconnection) for 1st/2nd generation devices with firmware 2.11.3
- Other minor bug fixes
Approx. 1 minute after a restart (power disconnection) only the right LED lights up or the LEDs are dark
In these cases the firmware must be loaded manually - via USB stick. For the procedure, please refer to the article Recovery (repair) firmware for Teufel Streaming (Raumfeld) devices
Approx. 1 minute after a restart (power disconnection) the left LED lights up and the right LED flashes regularly
This error occurs if the devices do not connect to the WLAN after the update.
In this case the device(s) must be set up again. If the host is affected (you no longer have access to the system via the app), unfortunately the only way to solve the problem is to uninstall the app and then reinstall it.
If individual devices can no longer be accessed, please delete the rooms (via "Settings" - "Devices" - "Rooms and Devices" - "Delete room") and reinstall via rooms ("Settings" - "Devices" - "Rooms and Devices" - "Add room")
Approx. 1 minute after a restart (power disconnection), only the left LED lights up permanently
The only thing that helps here is to reinstall the firmware. In these cases, the firmware must be installed manually using a USB stick. For the procedure please refer to the article Reinstallation of the firmware for Teufel Streaming Speakers
The device/system must then be set up again, all settings are reset.
